Portrait Cover Middle
The Portrait Cover Middle setting positions your hero image with the vertical middle aligned to the viewport, creating a dynamic reveal effect as visitors scroll down your page.
- Sizing method: Cover (fills entire viewport height)
- Vertical alignment: Middle (default)
- Scroll reveal: None (static)
- Landscape visibility: Most of the image immediately visible
- Portrait visibility: Middle part immediately visible
- Best use case: Images with subject positioned in vertical center
The hero image positioning functionality provides precise control over how featured images appear on different devices.
